Beneficiaries of this service will be offered the opportunity to travel to Uganda, Africa. Once in Uganda, individuals will not be tempted by substances as this is not a common issue affecting their general population and there will be a much smaller temptation to use addictive substances. We will help with sober living and recovery through the help of trusted members of the community such as social workers, pastors, and counselors. Through a different perspective and enriched living, we have the ability to help support a full recovery.
A healing space for those rebuilding their lives after recovery. We stand beside you, listen without judgment, and guide your journey forward.

Through this program, we collaborate with recovery organizations to host individuals on post-recovery trips to Uganda, East Africa. Participants will be under the supervision of a specialized support team, engage in service and learning experiences for 3-6 months or longer. These hands-on projects aim to equip participants with valuable work skills, foster connections with supportive communities, and promote self-discovery. With no access to street drugs in Uganda, participants can focus on finding deeper meaning and purpose without the temptation of addictive behaviors. This environment, combined with community support, helps renew their vitality, fosters valuable skills, and provides unique experiences from which they can feel inspired and carry back this meaning to the US.
