A community is only as strong as how it treats its most vulnerable members. At ELOI, our vision for the United States is simple but profound: a world where neighbors extend a helping hand, where we care for our elders with humanity, and where mental health is treated with compassion, not stigma.
Currently expanding our outreach across Vermont and beyond, we are putting love into action through practical, everyday service.
Serving with Purpose
We are dedicated to uplifting those right in our own backyard through targeted, dignity-driven projects:
- Free Lawn Care for Seniors: A well-kept yard represents safety, pride, and peace of mind. Our volunteers mow, trim, and maintain outdoor spaces so our elders can enjoy their homes without the physical or financial burden.
- Memory Care & Assisted Living Facility (Coming Soon): We are laying the groundwork for a facility where seniors are honored as human beings with rich histories, not just treated as patients.
- Chat With Steven: Mental health is a primary focus for ELOI in the US. “Chat With Steven” isn’t formal counseling—it’s a safe, open space to talk with someone who truly listens. Sometimes, all a person needs is to be heard and reminded that their journey matters.
A Call to Volunteers Whether you have one hour a week or one day a month, your presence makes a difference. Our volunteers often find that in helping others, they themselves are strengthened and encouraged.
